The ER-A610's standard scanning interface
makes your business more productive. Add an optional scanner, and
register efficiency increases dramatically. Now anyone can be a
cashier without long training periods. This means that you no longer
have to depend on skilled personnel for fast accurate
registration-register operation is consistently speedy. With 1.230
standard UPCs, expandable to thousands, all it takes to make
registrations and process transactions is one quick scan, which
means accuracy is guaranteed while mistakes virtually disappear.
Offering sales and promotions is part of any
store's business, and being able to process these smoothly is a sure
way to increase customer satisfaction. On sales of beverages for
example, with multi-level pricing you can sell one can, a six-pack,
a case (chilled), a case (unchilled), or several cases at once,
without any special processing. Vendor coupons are also easily
managed with this function.
The ER-A610 allows you to register a product
on the spot without having to first create a product master file.
When a product without a product master file is scanned, simply
enter the unit price and DEPT number. The item can then be scanned
again and the transaction completed without interruption.
For special
sales and markdowns, prices can be changed right at the register,
without interrupting regular transactions. Especially convenient for
cashiers, this allows price changes even on sale products without
the correct sale price marked. Entering the sale price beforehand is
also a breeze.
With the
auto delete function, products, which are not selling within a
designated period, can be automatically deleted from the master
product file. This also allows much more effective management of
limited store space.
The customer management function makes
it easy to track individual customer data, provide special credit
and bonuses, and give discounts to special customers. Itemized
customer data creates more business opportunities by identifying
appropriate product selection and streamlining inventory. The
standard 20 customer file can be expanded to a maximum of 8,000.
Using
the barcode book makes setting of text such as special product
names, personnel or departments easy, eliminating the multiple steps
necessary with key only operation.
Put your business all together with these
efficient networks. Sharp's in-line system connects up to 16 ECRs,
allowing one master ECR to collect and process sales data in
realtime as well as send preset data to all ECRs.
The on-line system
allows transfer of data between ECRs and an external computer
through an RS-232 interface. Sales data can be transferred from the
ECR to the personal computer, and processed via database or
spreadsheet programs. Preset programming information can be sent to
ECRs via a host PC. (This function requires special software).
