The ER-A550 features a streamlined design, integrating the
printer cover into the cabinet. Its 158 keys can be configured to
accommodate your specific business application requirements. The
durable spillproof surface safeguards against spills and wet hands,
and the flat keyboard allows complete menu layouts to be easily
inserted.
For more detailed receipt and management
reports, the ER-A550 features 8-character cashier names, 8-character
media and miscellaneous function descriptions and standard
8-character department and PLU item reporting, expandable to
16-character. The store's logo or special sales message may also be
included on customer receipts. You can print up to 6 lines of 21
characters each. The Pop-Up Display can be adjusted for easy
customer viewing.
The 90 direct keys allow you to assign a menu item
to each individual key. Flexible memory allows for expansion to 270
items on 3 separate levels. For different menus simply replace the
keyboard overlay and press the level key. Additionally, changes in
key assignments are easily performed.
Optional memory upgrades allow the user to
expand the ER-A460's standard 12 departments to a total of 50. By
expanding the number of available departments, the user can
efficiently categorize products. These departments can then be
classified into up to mine groups. The ER-A470's memory expansion
also allows the end user to increase the 200 standard PLUs to a
total of 2,000. Three pricing levels, 8 to 12 character text
descriptors, and period-to-date PLU tracking offer outstanding
inventory controls.
Departments allow you to track sales by product
type, size, shelf location, etc. Periodic category totals are
available for efficient sales control. The standard 270 PLU's,
expandable to 4,500, ensures pricing accuracy, ease of operation,
and increased customer throughput. PLU's can also be used
selectively as subdepartments.
The ER-A470 boasts high-quality and
high-speed dot-matrix printing at approximately 3 lines per second.
Detailed receipts and reports with information such as sales items
names, the cashier's name, and commercial messages can be printed
out, giving customers a clear record of their purchases. Management
reports including daily net total, group total, PLU by associated
department provide effective inventory and financial analysis tools.
With the optional communications
features of the ER-A550, you have the ability to connect to a PC
directly or via a modem using a standard RS-232 interface. The sales
data from your ER-A550 can be easily downloaded to a PC application
program with no additional data entry required. Moreover, up to 15
ER-A550's can be linked to an in-line system for in-house
communication. Optional peripherals such as a scale, kitchen
printer, coin dispenser can also be connected via the RS-232
interface.
